Managing all aspects of technology requires a broad range of expertise and experience which can burden organizations IT budgets. Net56 relieves the burden by helping companies increase productivity and efficiency while lowering operating costs allowing them to focus on their core business.

Service Management
The main objective of the service management processes is the administration of information to manage the quality of IT services. The service management processes ensure that services are defined and changed when necessary and provide support.

  • Service Level Management is the process of negotiating, defining, contracting, monitoring and reviewing the required and cost justified levels of customer service.

  • Change Management provides a mechanism to control and manage the initiation, implementation and review of all proposed changes to the operational IT infrastructure, in order to minimize the impact of change related incidents upon service delivery.

  • Software Management endows all organizations with the opportunity to achieve the full value of their software productivity and efficiency. By focusing on software piracy and unlicensed software issues we help you avoid the costly consequences of: illegal software failing, (rendering your computers and information useless) no support or warranties for unlicensed software and legal/financial penalties.

Operation Infrastructure Management
Is defined as management of the components or elements of the IT-infrastructure and consists of systems, network, database and desktop management and software distribution.

Net56 goes beyond traditional network management to embrace total distributed systems management including the following components of the computing infrastructure: enterprise servers, network connectivity and components (wide area networks and local area networks), distributed application servers, local/workgroup servers, and desktop workstations. The major distributed systems management disciplines include: fault management, performance management, capacity management, configuration management, back/recovery and software distribution.

Application Management
The focus here is on the application from the end-users perspective and Net56 ensures that critical applications and data are always highly available and perform optimally with service levels monitored and reported on.
  • Availability Management optimizes the availability of the IT infrastructure

  • Capacity Management focuses on the monitoring and tuning of existing services to ensure that optimum use is made of the hardware resources and that agreed performance and throughput levels can be achieved and maintained.
Security Network Management
Net56 understands comprehensive security architectures must include some way of determining the current state of security at any point in time. Traditionally, system audit logs served this purpose. But, many companies complain of having inadequate resources — either security staff or money — to monitor those logs. In response, dozens of consulting and software firms are responding with a range of outsourced services that include monitoring these logs. A close look at those services however, shows that the actual daily monitoring of back office systems will have to be done by a focused, dedicated 24x7 operations center.

Net56 offers security services based on industry best practices for infrastructure design, complex product deployments and security assessment. From large-scale implementations to brief problem-solving assignments, Net56 consultants develop and deliver custom solutions to help accomplish your goals.

Operational Recovery
Organizations today are more focused than ever before on maintaining an operational recovery plan which identifies: (a) the computer applications that are critical to operations; (b) the information assets that are necessary for those applications, and (c) the company’s plan for resuming operations following a disaster affecting those applications. Net56 assists clients with their operational recovery requirements by providing the following services:
  • Hotsite Service is primarily for critical applications and is available to those customers requiring restoration of services within 48 hours after an operational disruption.

  • Offsite Storage is provided to customers requiring storage of their vital data processing files away from their primary business location. In the event of a disaster occurring at their primary business location, these customers will be able to restore vital records and recover their processing capabilities while restoring normal business functions. Depending upon client requirements, offsite storage can be provided at the Net56 Data Center or another location.

  • Network Recovery is available to provide for recovery of communication circuits disabled by a disaster.
