Who in the Cloud is Net56 you ask?

Net56, Inc. is a network telecommunications company that has been providing IT network managed services for education, businesses, and government for more than 30 years.  Managed network services with 24/7 monitoring are Net 56’s specialties.  Our vast IT knowledge gained during the course of our many years in business as well as our professional employees have made Net56, Inc. one of the Chicago area’s premier managed services providers.

Originally named Koch Technologies, Inc. (KTI) when founded by Bruce Koch in 1980, our company began as a design, software research, and development firm. KTI developed interfaces and device drivers for MS Windows and other environments for large peripheral manufacturers during the time period of 1986 to 1994.  Initially, KTI’s main focus was on robotics and computerized manufacturing interfaces. Due to the ever expanding evolution of the advances in technology, our main focus developed into turnkey applications for value-added resellers (VARS) and large-scale corporate users.  In order to meet the demand, KTI formed Net56, Inc. in 1995 focusing on intranets and internet technology for both home and business.  As the business grew, so did the need for additional infrastructure. The first data center was built in Palatine, Illinois to accommodate the network expansion needed to accommodate growth. In 2001, they found a niche in helping school districts, who are often underfunded and understaffed for technology needs. As technology evolved with an increasing number of technology gadgets and security concerns, Net56 soon outgrew their Palatine location. In 2014, Net 56 built a new state-of-the-art data center in Deer Park with provisions for increased security and network monitoring. Today, we continue to provide our clients the most secure internet access as well as mission-critical cloud hosting, data management and monitoring services available in the marketplace.
